Would this be along the lines of "Observation Patrols", even though the Spanish seems to indicate that it's the other way around? Is it like "surveillance"?

Asker: I think it's probably "surveillance and patrol".

agree  philgoddard: But not "survey", in my opinion - perhaps you mean surveillance.

  -> I don't like "survey" either but its what they used in the reference I provided. Surveillance would also be valid
