0.75 hands/7.62 cm Explanation: Indique un valor (hand (mano)): 0.75 Medidas métricas kilómetro (km) 0.0000762 metro (m) 0.0762 decímetro (dm) 0.762 centímetro (cm) 7.62 milímetro (mm) 76.2 micrómetro (micrón) 76 200 nanómetro (nm) 76 200 000 ångström 761 999 999 https://www.convert-me.com/es/convert/length/hand.html?u=han... The hand is a non-SI unit of measurement of length standardized to 4 inches (101.6 mm). It is used to measure the height of horses in some English-speaking countries, including Australia, Canada, the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States. It was originally based on the breadth of a human hand. The adoption of the international inch in 1959 allowed for a standardized imperial form and a metric conversion. It may be abbreviated to "h" or "hh". Although measurements between whole hands are usually expressed in what appears to be decimal format, the subdivision of the hand is not decimal but is in base 4, so subdivisions after the radix point are in quarters of a hand, which are inches. Thus, 62 inches is fifteen and a half hands, or 15.2 hh (normally said as "fifteen-two", or occasionally in full as "fifteen hands two inches"). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hand_(unit) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2019-05-06 15:22:20 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Page 23 Los sistemas de medidas concretos tales como las de longitud, superficie tuvieron una evolución muy distinta. |

Reference: Vara Reference information: .836 metres http://dictionary.reverso.net/spanish-english/Vara -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2019-05-06 15:13:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I haven't found "cuerda". Unless you can, I'd leave it in Spanish and say the meaning is unclear. |
