My problem here is not the words but the core meaning and how to convey it: Mediante observación participante, entrevistas a profundidad y encuestas escolares, obtuvimos datos que permiten considerar diversos patrones culturales que parecen fortalecer un sistema familiar que se extiende a ambos lados de la frontera, con las particularidades de sus actores. My version: Through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and school surveys, we obtained data that let us consider various cultural patterns that appear to strengthen a family system that exists on both sides of the border, ***with the*** characteristics of their actors.
