hooks used as spear-throwers Explanation: "Propulsor" means a device used to throw a spear or dart faster and further than can be done with the bare hand alone. They're usually called spear-throwers in English. There are various kinds, such as the pre-Hispanic Mexican atlati. There were used for hunting in Neolithic times and can be quite elaborate, though they're often very simple.
