(f) (finado) deceased Explanation: Yes, it does mean "deceased," although having translated probably hundreds of Mexican documents of this kind (birth/death/marriage certificates), as well as notarial instruments where it's usually not abbreviated, I can say with confidence that the (f) generally stands for "finado/a" rather than "fallecido/a". No idea what (MAR) means though, I don't recognize that at all. |
