The more I read of this document, and the more I see the weird use of other terminology, the more I am sure that this isn't a standard use of this term. However, due to lack of evidence, I have marked it with a big red flag for the client. If a solution is forthcoming, I'll post it here.

Thanks for the input. I have a good amount of time for this job (thankfully, because I suspect it is going to become "one of those" jobs), so I'll wait and see if anyone else can shed light, and review it based on your comments.

SOPs are often difficult to parse even when you have hundreds of pages of context to help you, unless you're actually there at the plant. I really have no idea what is going on in that part specifically, but I think just given its normal usage in this field it's reasonable to believe they might be referring to "recipe". Sorry I can't be of more help :-)

Recipe/prescription would usually be the go-to translation, but I am struggling to make it fit in this context. Take for example my third phrase "mantener la receta de adicion con presion positiva de nitrogeno" - would this then mean "make sure that there is +ve N pressure at all times during this recipe?". It would make much more sense, in my admittedly limited knowledge, for this to mean "maintain the inlet pipe at +ve pressure". Or have I completely misunderstood the concept?

I don't think it means receptacle, it most likely (albeit perhaps unintuitively) refers to "recipe", look:
