breadboard/protoboard Explanation: But without more context it might just as easily be motherboard, like Francois said. I offer this only because a breadboard/protoboard is used during the an initial layout of a circuit done by hand; I guess it's the "done by hand" part that "obra" conjures up in my mind and makes me think of breadboard. You can easily tell if you have pictures...a motherboard has components plugged in and will a finished look; it's manufactured. A breadboard/protoboard is empty of components, and the types of components that can be plugged in can also be easily removed. There will also be price differences between motherboards and breadboards, if you have price information handy. Good luck! |
