Buenos días,

Estoy traduciendo un artículo sobre los riesgos asociados con el gas radón en nuevas construcciones y no sé cómo traducir "juntas de ejecución" en la frase siguiente:

"A continuación se puede observar cómo el gas radón penetra fácilmente a través de barreras que necesitan juntas de dilatación y crean juntas de ejecución".

He buscado los diferentes tipos de juntas en inglés y sé que "juntas de dilatación" es "expansion joints". Para "juntas de ejecución" he encontrado un término que podría ser equivalente: "construction joints". ¿Alguien me puede decir si es correcto o si hay otra palabra más acertada?

Gas can enter new buildings from the soil through cracks or openings in the foundation, for example at a block wall.

9.1.7 To retard soil gas entry, all control joints, isolation joints, construction joints, and any other joints in concrete slabs or between slabs and foundation walls shall be sealed.
