agree  Charles Davis: Since this is an Australian degree I think that for once "PhD" would be suitable. I normally avoid it when it's a foreign doctorate.

agree  philgoddard: Yes, this is very easy to research, but I don't think the average bilingual person could be sure of the correct answer. I wasn't until I looked it up.
