Four pole plug with symmetric connectors Explanation: . -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs (2012-10-26 17:17:31 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- I'm afraid I don't *know* what cuatripolar is, I just know that in English it's "four-pole". Perhaps this page will explain a bit: http://www.rverscorner.com/wiring/4pole.html Also, they're used for domestic appliances: http://norrissteam.co.uk/harting-four-pole-plug-for-steam-ir... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs (2012-10-26 17:33:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Hmmm. The weak point in my answer is that I thought I'd found some good refs for symmetric connectors, but they don't stand up to scrutiny. So this part is just a guess, meaning that the plug pins are symmetrically placed (rather than 3-pin, for example). Hope someone else can clarify this further for you. |
