I'm not too sure I get this:

"El sistema de alimentación ininterrumpida (UPS, por sus siglas en inglés) es un sistema de alimentación que consta de aplicaciones para la gestión de calidad de la energía, no sólo proporcionando soporte durante interrupciones momentáneas, sino protegiendo los equipos mediante la distribución de corriente alterna de alta calidad a través de la corriente directa de conversión y filtrado."
