Previendo una contingencia de 5 días de funcionamiento del proceso, se tendrá tres depósitos de 150 m3 de capacidad unitaria construidos en acero inoxidable

This is from a plan for a tar treatment plant and the tar is to be pumped from a pool to "depósitos de homogenización y contingencia". This use is straightforward ("contingency tanks"), but it's this second use that's a bit trickier.

Could it be "With a 5-day contingency for the functioning of the process planned..."?

Asker: It had to be in first thing this morning, so in the end I went for: "In order to allow for 5 days’ contingent capacity for the functioning of the process", which I'm reasonably happy with. Does everyone agree?
