Dependants' allowable relief Explanation: Note the spelling of dependants as a noun and dependent as an adjective. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 10 hrs (2019-08-27 08:22:18 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- There seems to be some mix-up over what this (non-reinsurance) deductible (vs. insurance excess) is. This appears to be a tax relief deductible or tax allowance subtracted rather than an allowance in the sense of a grant, such as in the UK 'child tax credit' payable or, as ex UK PM Gordon Brown's disastrous and chaotic switch from a tax deduction has turned out in my bitter experience, non-payable or payable-back on every flimsy excuse under the sun. |
