Bus/Financial - Finance (general) / cooperative banking, mission
Spanish term or phrase: articulacion territorial
A cooperative credit institution in Spain. Its principles and mission include 'articulacion territorial'. I assume they are talking about ways of linking or joining up the different areas within its territory, but I can't for the life of me think of a snappy way to say it!
Any inspiration?
Thanks

You often see the word integration bandied about in marketing and corporate lingo. ;-)

I wish I could split the points on this one! In the end I have opted to do a belt and braces approach as the Spanish term contains more nuance than any single English term. So integration and coordination it is!

territorial / regional coordination

Explanation:
The author is of course aware that further documentation – like material examples of territorial coordination on the EU level (e.g., Trans-European networks, water and river policies etc.,) and results of already existing European sectoral policies with a territorial impact, ...

The evident benefits of territorial cooperation have turned it into a grass-roots
phenomenon, as manifested in the establishment of Euro-regions or twin city links.
Currently there are more than 70 Euro-regions in Europe. Most of them operate without
any external financial support. Typically their work is based on multi-annual action plans
or strategies. Twin city networks and Euro-regions are engines for numerous cross-
border projects and initiatives. However, due to existing language, cultural,
administrative, information and even physical barriers, territorial cooperation and
networking requires, in many cases, some external start-up support. The importance of
such stimulation is growing as physical distance increases and when cultural differences are wide and/or there is little history of cooperation...

territorial articulation

Explanation:
FWIW, the literal translation gets several thousand hits, some of them from published papers... although the authors don't sound very English :-)
