Spanish term or phrase: pago de servicios
Estimados:
La frase aparece en una app de un banco en donde dice que se pueden abonar los servicios desde el esta aplicaciòn. Solo dice: "pago de servicios". ¿"Public services" aplicaría al pago de luz, gas, etc?. Desde ya, muchas gracias!!

pay [utility] bills / bills payment
Explanation:
I'm doubtful that we use "services" in English to say this, isn't it more normal to say "bills"?

To be specific you could say "pay utility bills", but simply "pay bills" or "pay your bills" would do in my opinion.
Presumably, this is the part of the app you can use to pay your bills, so the verb form "pay..." would work, or you could translate it as "bills payment".

payment for services

Explanation:
Payment for a personal service or skill that someone provides, like an attorney, or a translator. "Public services" as indicated are generally referred to as "Utilities." Basically everything else you pay for is a product and therefore a "purchase."

agree  philgoddard: Yes, good point. I'd forget about utilities, though - it's presumably any kind of bill, including things like taxes.
