Explanation:
This is a lot for one question but I will break it down.
Jineteadas, you could leave it as it is as it is obvious from the context that it is a kind of rodeo:
Jineteada gaucha or doma gaucha is a traditional sport in the gaucho culture of Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and southern parts of Brazil and Chile. The objective is for the rider to stay on an untamed horse for a specified time, 6 to 15 seconds, depending on the category.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jineteada_gaucha

As mentioned in discussion, "pelo" is bareback, and "basto oriental" refers to Argentina. "Basto"is riding with a basic Gaucho saddle with stirrups

"The horseback tournament is without a doubt the most significant attraction at the Semana Criolla. Riders contend in three different categories a pelo [bareback], a basto [saddle] and a basto argentino [a mimimalist saddle]."http://investliveuruguay.com/semana-criolla-in-uruguay-gauch...

It could get confusing if you are so specific, but most people would understand the usual categories of bareback and saddle bronc:

Another article in English:
The horseback competition is the biggest attraction at the Semana Criolla. Riders compete in three categories a pelo [bareback], a basto [saddle] and a basto argentino [a mimimalist saddle]. The object is to stay on a wild horse for 12 seconds (or 10 seconds, if bareback) while the horse bucks and runs and tries to throw the rider.
Jineteada was declared Uruguay's national sport in 2006.

The "basto" does seem to be just a very basic rodeo saddle, so bronc saddle or saddle bronc category could work.

And sorry, I got oriental mixed up, Uruguay not Argentina.

Differences between oriental/argentino:

According to the competition, there are several categories. The most important are:
Crina Category or bareback: Rider is only allowed a leather strap, which is placed around the horse's neck. Spurs are used and the mounting time is 8 seconds.
Category surera: Rider must ride the animal with only a sheepskin as a pad. Reins are held in one hand, and in other is whip. The mounting time is 12 seconds.
Category Basto with counter: Rider uses stirrups and should not lose them at any time. The mounting time is 15 seconds.

https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jineteada_gaucha
