This is a text about pinot noir, a red wine which can be drunk cold.

I have no problem with the first paragraph. I have added it for context. If someone could helpme with the second, I would be very grateful.

agree  Mara Ballarini: goes down well when cold/cooled/chilled - that don't imply you have to chill it to enjoy it, but you can if you want because it's still good to drink even when chilled

pairs well with cold temperature ...

Explanation:
Just an opinion.
That is why Pinot pairs well with cold temperature, because its tannic levels are lower and because it is lighter, therefore ...
Something like that. I hope it helps!

is a good choice for serving chilled

Explanation:
the text says that red wines are astringent and the lower the temperature, the more astringent they are. But the pinot noir is an exception, it has a lower tannin content and is smoother. Therefore it is not too astringent to enjoy even at lower than room temperature (in this respect the text says that it is like a white wine). So it is a good choice if you want a wine that you can serve chilled.

responds well to being chilled

Explanation:
Another possibility.

One possible problem with 'goes down better...' (sorry to nitpick) is that the text refers to the wine's effects on the tongue, and when it has 'gone down' it is already well past the tongue!
