peer agreement (net): +2or not to make a claim (under the aforementioned policy) Explanation: I understand this to mean is that if the bailee fails to take adequate precautions to prevent damage to the property, the company, which is presumably the bailor of the property, has the right claim for the damage against the bailee, or not to make an insurance claim. In other words, although the damage caused by the bailee's negligence may be covered by the company's insurance policy, they will be within their rights not to make an insurance claim but to charge the bailee for the damage. It will be to their advantage not to make an insurance claim, because it would presumably increase their future premiums and they might lose some sort of no-claims bonus. For this use of "afectar": "Usted no debió afectar su póliza... Debió hacer que Transmetro le pagara con su póliza o en su defecto de su bolsillo para no afectar la póliza" http://automovilescolombia.com/foros/threads/todo-sobre-segu... So I read it as "tendrá la facultad de repetir [...] o de no afectar [...]": it will have the right to do either of these things. |
