I'm not sure what the correct translation is for ajuar in the context of an insurance policy for a business.

The policy describes it as: "Conjunto de bienes muebles (mobiliario, útiles, moldes, modelos y matrices, herramientas, maquinaria, con sus anclajes, fundamentos y fosos auxiliares, transformadores, aparatos generadores, líneas eléctricas, motores, accesorios y repuestos), tanto industriales como de oficina, que se encuentren dentro del recinto de la empresa."

I don't disagree with "furnishings", but contents is the word usually used in insurance. It means everything inside the building and not forming part of the structure.

Asker: Thanks Phil, but contents insurance how do you distinguish ajuar from contenido? Bearing in mind that "Contenido" in insurance is defined as "todos aquellos elementos que se encuentren dentro de una vivienda pero que no formen parte de su estructura. Estos bienes, que deben pertenecer al asegurado o a las terceras personas que vivan habitualmente en el edificio, pueden ser muebles, electrodomésticos, objetos tecnológicos, ropa, objetos de valor (como joyas), objetos de valor especial (como obras de arte), etc. Aunque normalmente todo esto está incluido como contenido por las aseguradoras, hay elementos que hay que declarar expresamente, como las joyas o las obras de arte." Or is ajuar simply a synonym for contenido?

Asker: yes, they do seem pretty similar.

Asker: I've just found a translation of "ajuar doméstico" as "domestic contents", so your solution seems to be a good one. However, given the further context in my comment a few minutes ago, I'm thinking of broadening it to "Equipment and Contents". Thanks

Explanation:
Contents as suggested by our colleague is a very good option that I agree with and it can perfectly work. However, one tends to think of a "content" as something contained or inside something. Considering the plants and (I assume) landscaping are located outside of the building BELONGINGS could cover not only the inside but the outside of the premises.
