provides for/prescribes mediation Explanation: Although "contemplar" is a little broad in its meaning (from "order" to "consider"), I would assume this refers to cases where the law requires mediation to be carried out. Having said that, both "prescribe" and "provide" are sufficiently vague to cover it. I don't think there is any doubt about "mediation". prescribe 1.1 Recommend (a substance or action) as something beneficial. ‘marriage is often prescribed as a universal remedy’ ... 2 State authoritatively or as a rule that (an action or procedure) should be carried out. ‘rules prescribing five acts for a play are purely arbitrary’ https://www.lexico.com/en/definition/prescribe la legislación actual no contempla este caso — there is no provision for a situation of this kind in the current legislation / the current legislation does not provide for a situation of this kind https://www.lexico.com/es-en/traducir/contemplar |
