English translation:process of seizure and sale of property of a bankrupt person or entity
Explanation:
Alternative 1: process of liquidation of property of a bankrupt individual, partnership, or corporation or other entity.
Alternative 2: process of liquidation of property of the bankrupt estate.
Alternative 3: process of liquidation of [the] assets of the bankrupt estate.
Alternative 4 (more vague): process of execution against [the] assets of the bankrupt party.
Note: "Bankrupt" means the party is not just insolvent or in composition of indebtedness but has been adjudicated as bankrupt.

Alternative: where it says "a bankrupt" one may substitute the more literal "the bankrupt".
However, care must be taken to be in accord with the broader context, which the Asker did not provide here.

process of levy of execution against the insolvent's/bankrupt's assets

Explanation:
Not as US-savvy as the first answer or Rebecca J's weblink, but it ought to be noted that - in the US Fed. State of Delaware - the individual bankrupt can be appointed receiver, 'special interim manager' and liquidator ('turning the poacher into game-keeper'), hence the number of US corporate bankruptcies channel(l)ed through such courts (UK: windings-up on the ground of insolvency) US ref. [(Courting Failure : How Competition for Big Cases is Corrupting the Bankruptcy Courts)] [By (author) Lynn M. LoPucki] published on (December, 2006) | Lynn M. LoPucki

Example sentence(s):
  • [(Courting Failure : How Competition for Big Cases is Corrupting the Bankruptcy Courts)]
  • Execution and Levy Execution can refer to any method of enforcing a money judgment.

  -> Thanks - levy plus the preposition of 'against' usually does the translation trick into English

  -> Yes. You are on the spot in the US so will know this, namely a debtor may, oddly, be the same person as a company receiver or liquidator. I usually recommend Courting Failure as set US reading for translators who cannot understand the 'mumbo jumbo'.
