The term of counterpart needs to be watched as I have only ever come across the term as a copy of a Lease, the original of which is the master. Otherwise, contracts are redactado en duplicado a un solo efecto > engrossed in two original *parts* cf. a recent AmE ProZ answer: in two originals.
