Punto de Despacho o Entrega: será el punto de despacho o entrega en la Planta de Almacenamiento, del brazo de llenado a cilindros, a camiones cisterna o vagón de ferrocarril, o brida de la tubería de despacho a embarcaciones marítimas en el muelle de despacho (para el caso de entrega por tubería).
Tengo que poner este párrafo en inglés - La definicion de despacho de mercancias es la siguiente:

El despacho de mercancías supone el paso final que dan los productos en las instalaciones de almacenaje. Veamos de qué subprocesos está compuesta:

1. Planificación de las entregas que realizar
El despacho de mercancías no funciona de manera aislada al resto de operativas del almacén y, por ello, la planificación cumple un papel de suma importancia. Organizar los despachos de mercancía diariamente supone:

Conocer y confirmar los pedidos que serán preparados y enviados en el día.
Ordenar el listado de pedidos que preparar.
Asignar los pedidos a los transportistas e indicar las franjas horarias en las que tendrán que recoger la mercancía.
Programar la ocupación de los muelles de carga.
Prever el espacio necesario en la zona de almacenaje temporal junto a despachos.)
