Tech/Engineering - Law (general) / Court case
Spanish term or phrase: Anuncia alegato
This is an appeal for protection of rights from Chile. One of the documents of the file is from the petitioner's attorney addressing the court and on the top right hand corner says "Anuncia alegato". How would you translate it? "Give notice of arguments?"

/ give / notice of > civ. & crim. > case to be made out
Explanation:
Yes. I agree with give notice: as a header > on the top right hand corner says "Anuncia alegato" > simply notice of case made out.

agree  philgoddard: I think this is the most likely meaning - surely we're looking for a noun - though "give" is not relevant here and "to be made out" is redundant.

-> Thanks, Phil. I beleive 'anuncia' is shorthand for esta parte, so this side. Grammatically dodgy, but I have seen the 3rd person active-verb form used too many times in a legal header to be surprised any more.
