Spanish term or phrase: con derecho a descanso y remuneración
Buenas tardes,

Additional paid rest days in Jinotepe city include:

ii. Days that according to decree issued by Jinotepe municipal government are declared additional paid rest days depending on events occurred during the year

paid
Explanation:
That's all you need to say - there's no need to translate "descanso y".

So "Son días de asueto adicionales en la ciudad de Jinotepe con derecho a descanso y remuneración" is "The following additional paid holidays apply in Jinotepe".

agree  Meridy Lippoldt: A common term in the US is "Paid Time Off" (PTO)

neutral  Angelo Berbotto: IMHO, the translation should render the fact that the local government declares day X a holiday. That's why I'd propose "paid public holidays" or "paid local holidays" - just my opinion.

-> It says 'in Jinotepe', so 'local' is redundant.

agree  Robert Carter: "Paid holidays" works for the US.

disagree  Angelo Berbotto: I am afraid I disagree as ASUETO refers to a specific date that the government declares as a non working day; whereas leave entitlement and right to paid holiday is a right of the worker to have time off work, usually when the employee requests it. Cheers

paid public holidays

Explanation:
Hola Manuel, in the UK and Australia I think you would say public holiday. You could clarify that workers are entitled to remuneration by saying paid public holiday. I propose:

The following are additional paid public holidays in the town of Jinotepe:

i. Holidays declared by municipal decree issued by the local (or municipal) government of Jinotepe in response to events throughout the year.

Espero que te sirva. Saludos.
