TAI (here)

English translation: territory of applied tax

Spanish term or phrase: TAI (here)
SPAIN: Another abbreviation from an online tax form. I initially thought it meant "Técnicos Auxiliares de Informática", but that doesn't seem to fit with "en el TAI " or the rest of the context.

This is the string I'm translating: "Importe en euros si la sujeción es por operaciones no sujetas en el TAI por reglas de localización"

The irritatingly undefined abbreviation also appears in similar contexts:

"Si de su aplicación resulta que el hecho imponible se entiende realizado en el TAI, la operación tributará conforme a la normativa española del impuesto." / "Entregas de los bienes que hayan de ser objeto de instalación o montaje antes de su puesta a disposición. Se entienden realizadas en el TAI cuando concurren las siguientes circunstancias:"

I'm guessing it could mean something like "Tarifa de Actividades Impositivas", but so far I can't find confirmation.

Google gives lots of examples of "territory of application of the tax", some from the AEAT.

I ended up using the abbreviation TAT, although I could only find one other example of its use. I've also left the client the option of leaving the Spanish abbreviation TAI.... Thanks to everyone who helped out on this one.

Asker: Thanks! Mystery resolved! They mention the Canaries quite a lot, which will be where the "territory" bit comes in....

neutral  AllegroTrans: How does that fit to the Spanish acronym TAI? Given your 100% confidence, you should provide an explanation other than "I've seen this"
