An estate, in common law, is the net worth of a person at any point in time alive or dead. It is the sum of a person's assets – legal rights, interests and entitlements to property of any kind – less all liabilities at that time. ... The term is also used to refer to the sum of a person's assets only.

GLOSSARY ENTRY (DERIVED FROM QUESTION BELOW)
Spanish term or phrase: sucesiones ilíquidas
English translation: unliquidated successions
There is a previous entry for "sucesiones ilíquidas", so I inagine yours "... líquidas" would be the opposite.

**"Ccausante" to English: taxpayer, taxpayer as used in Mexico (yours, I believe, is Colombia)**
Spanish Synonyms of "causante": contribuidor, contribuyente, pagador de impuesto, pagador de impuestos, tributante, tributario, contributario, causante de impuestos

I really don't see in the other proposal where "sucesiones líquidas" has been addressed.

HTH!
