It does exist, although we may not like it. Apparently the French also like "Business Pole", which sounds quite odd in English IMHO.

PS: The term "nuevos polos de desarrollo" just cropped up in a translation I'm doing right now. I ran it through Google translate and it came up with "development poles", but I'm still using "hubs"... :-)
