Jackie Bowman: Those accents are indeed important. “What was lost” = “lo perdido” (not “la pérdida”, which unambiguously means "loss"). “Was burned” = “se ardió”. The translation in your reference is highly suspect.

-> I'm not even sure which is the original and which is the translation; the Spanish looks very suspect. But “se ardió” would not be proper.

rar: Based upon watching the movie rather than my Spanish skills (which are very limited) I think the most accurate translation is "When the woman who was lost burns with passion she returns to life."
