Spanish term or phrase: elaboración, creación, producción, realización
"Proporcionar una formación adecuada en el campo de la elaboración informativa y de la creación, producción y realización en los diversos medios de comunicación audiovisual."

If the four terms were on their own, I'd translate them all by "production". Can you think of synonyms that work in English. I'm thinking of just using "production" (i.e. "in news production and audiovisual media production").

elaboración, creación, producción, realización
making, creating, producing, directing

Explanation:
At first sight all these terms can be taken as synonymous, but in fact they have subtle differences to express different ideas. Not only is the precision of the meaning of the words but the intension that can be analyzed from a PNL point of view. Additionally there is also the candid use of the terms trying to identify the steps in a productive process. For example, in filmmaking, you can emboss the process steps in a quite similar way as you do in the production of multimedia. Talking about creating, producing, directing, editing is perfectly understood that you are dealing with different activities.
A particular note on realización is that it also has the meaning of directing. Please see 2 at ref.

Well, I don\'t mean these terms have to be in any specific order. I simply used the order of your question heading. For \"elaboración informativa\", you can understand the work done by in-depth tv journalism such as the one from 60 minutes, 20/20 or Primetime where there is an actual news making from subjects that otherwise wouldn\'t be news at all. Probably they like rather call this work as news investigation, that isn\'t bad at all.
