Medical - Medical (general) / Imaging Report
Spanish term or phrase: nivel denso
Hi everyone,

I have this imaging report and I'm stomped with this "nivel denso" part because "dense level" makes no sense to me.

Here's the whole paragraph:

fluid-fluid level / fluid (hyperdense) level
Explanation:
fluid-fluid level

hyperdensity/hyperdense

Explanation:
Increased density, or hyperdensity, when observed in CT scans of the gallbladder, can be associated with biliary sludge (= "lodo biliar"). References are provided for context surrounding biliary sludge in imaging exams.
