Se observó atrición dental en 26 pacientes (76.4%), caries en 7 (20.5%) e hipoplasia de esmalte en 3 (8.8%).
Se consideró que la erupción dentaria estaba retrasada en relación a la edad cronológica en 26 (76.4%) pacientes.
La exploración de la relación intermaxilar solo pudo completarse en 15 pacientes por razones conductuales.
Se diagnosticó Clase II de Angle por micrognatia o retrognatia en 9 (60.0%), m[1}ordida cruzada en 5 (33.3%) y sobremordida en 7 (31.8%) (Tabla 2).
El paladar era alto y estrecho en 5 pacientes (14.7%).
En 7 (20.5%) pacientes se sospechó disfunción de la articulación témporomandibular al observar {1]apertura bucal limitada, desviación mandibular y/o ruidos articulares.
Se registró bruxismo persistente en 26 pacientes (77.5%), 7 (20.5%) tenían hábito de succión no nutritiva y 5 (14.7%) de mordisqueo.

disagree  Paulina Sobelman: Morder is to bite and Masticar is to chew but the article specifically uses in Spanish mordisquear which would more properly be "to nibble", even if also in Spanish one does not usually associate "mordisqueo" with "bruxismo"...and rather a stronger bite
