fixed, limited Explanation: I would say they mean evaluation periods that must be very limited and carefully managed and adhered to i.e. not to be extended. This same phrase was used in this way to describe the period of time the German courts had to be able to make a decision over what they were going to do with Carles Puigdemont (see link). Furthermore, rae.es clarifies that "tasar" can be a synonym for "restringir", which would fit in this context. Example sentence(s):
