Reference Reference information: In the following reference it's been translated as 'Major Great User'. A Major Great User (GUMA) must buy at least 50% of the energy through agreements and the rest at the Spot Market; the lowest power limit for a GUMA has been fixed in 1 MW. A Minor Great User (GUME) must have 50 KW to 2 MW of power and must buy all the energy through agreements. http://www.cired.net/publications/cired2001/6_19.pdf -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 28 mins (2019-10-26 16:22:34 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Another translation (in a glossary on page 11) GUMA - “Gran Usuario Mayor” Major Large User https://iie.fing.edu.uy/publicaciones/2000/Vig00/Vig00.pdf -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 50 mins (2019-10-26 16:45:08 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Page 25 Large users The MEM classifies Large Users of energy into three categories: Major Large Users (GUMA), Minor Large Users (GUME) and Particular Large Users (GUPA). At present, each of these customer categories purchases its energy demand directly from CAMMESA. Agreements between parties (Generator and Large User) are only limited to the Energy Plus segment with respect to the demand exceeding the base demand, i.e. the amount of energy the customer consumed back in 2005. http://www.annualreports.com/HostedData/AnnualReports/PDF/NY... I've only been able to find GUMA, GUME and GUPA with an explanation the first time the term appears, which is what I would probably do. http://www.annualreports.com/HostedData/AnnualReports/PDF/NY... |
