So how do we interpret these tiny dots to be different colours? Las imprentas de offset (las mas comunes) solo pueden imprimir colores planos. Por eso para imprimir degradados y fotografias usan una impresion en una red de puntos o trama. Si miras una revista o cartel a color con lupa los veras. Los puntos siempre estan en la misma posicion y son mas grandes cuanto mas se quiere que se vea uno de los colores (CMAN o CMYK)

2.4. Ángulo de trama, ángulos más utilizados

El ángulo en el que disponemos los puntos de trama repercuten en dos aspectos principalmente.

Por un lado la disposición de los puntos en diferentes ángulos determina el grado de visualización de punto o sensación de tono, de ésta forma si colocamos los puntos a 45 grados el ojo humano difumina el punto y percibe solamente un valor de tono, mientras que los puntos a 90 grados, son perceptibles por el ojo como una hilera de puntos (ver imagen siguiente).
