disagree  Carol Gullidge: Sorry, but “bronze to teflon” makes no sense in English, and where does “threaded” come from?

neutral  philgoddard: This is more than Maria asked for, and your punctuation is wrong. If I understand it correctly, the ball is the shutoff.

disagree  Enrique Soria: the noun is "cierre". in this context, it is called a shut-off.

chrome plated, 1/2 in. teflon ball shut-off valve

Explanation:
The problem with the entire phrase is that it doesn't make sense. It probably is a back trans, possible from a catalog of items. The EN word order doesn't fit the SP word order. The part asked to be translated cn't be translated on its own as it makes the least sense of all.

I came up with the translation after dissecting the entire phrase and using familiarity with these type of valves.

'1/2 in. cierre' is a 1/2 in. shut off valve
'cromado' is chrome plated valve body

after I posted this something else occurred to me.
