Philosophical approach 00:56 Jan 12, 2019
As per what I studied in "Special Problems of Ethics" at the University of Buenos Aires, the distinction has to do more -and this is Kusch's approach mainly-, with the "essere" and "sedere" or "ser" more linked to a rational determination, which Kuch associates with the origin of the cities, the avoidance of contingency, the wish to have everything under control, determined, avoiding the risks of contingency, therefore in philosophy more linked to the rationality of the arché in Greek, when a rational principle rules and organises reality under its rules-, whereas "stare" has more to do with the rationale of Kratos - of the Greek myths, previous to the empire of reason, where the contingency which emerged from the fights between the Gods, ruled human lives, which were entirely vulnerable, and because of the arbitrariness of the Gods' decisions, unpredictable... Kusch links this to the "estar estando" of the latin american native population which resists the Eurocentric view of the "essere" and the "cities". |
