Spanish term or phrase: Dialogar (IT)
Hola. Estoy traduciendo un manual técnico y me aparece la palabra "dialoga".

Esta es la frase:

El agente X es un proceso ubicado en el elemento Y desarrollado en Java y que dialoga con el resto de procesos del Z para conseguir la información necesaria que debe suministrar al sistema externo que la solicite

Alguna idea?

interact
Explanation:
This is the word that is primarily used to describe "dialogues" between Java threads (or any other "processes")

Note this:

"Threads do not interact directly; they communicate only through the shared main memory."

Both words are good, but "interact" seems to be a preferred synonym, probably because it conveys the notion that communication between processes is bidirectional.

communicates

Explanation:
Actually it is "converses" - is having a conversation (or dialog) with the other process. So they made a verb out of *dialog* becuase they could not say "tenga un coversacion" (excuse me for by amateur Spanish)
