Hallo liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,
was heißt eigentlich "poner cara de circunstancias"? Den Ausdruck finde ich immer öfter und ich kann mir darunter nichts vorstellen.
Beispiel: Heute im spanischen Parlament greift der Redner den Regierungschef scharf an: ¿Usted hizo algo por averiguarlo? No, no hizo nada. Y esto produce indignación. El presidente, mientras, ponía cara de circunstancias.

Hier in Kudoz gibt es in der Richtung ES-EN die Antwort "to make a face". Hat der Präsident da also Grimassen geschnitten?
Bei Yahoo! gibt es Antworten, die mich auch nicht weiterbringen.

In dem Roman El Guardián Invisible von Dolores Redondo z.B. kommt dieser Ausdruck laufend vor, los personajes de la novela no paran de poner cara de circunstancias continuamente ... aber was bedeutet das?
