Scahmotte Explanation: Ich glaube, es geht eher um den Stoff als um das Produkt. Schamotte [italienisch] in Schacht- oder Drehrohröfen vorgebrannter feuerfester Ton oder Kaolin. Schwachbrand- oder Glühschamotte ist bei 600-800°C vorgebrannt, sie ist noch reaktionsfähig; Hartschamotte ist bei 1500-1600°C gebrannt und besitzt eine hohe Dichte und Volumenbeständigkeit (www.wissen.de) Schamottesteine feuerfestes Material, das aus Schamotte und Ton durch Pressen hergestellt wird; wird bei 1400-1500°C gebrannt.
