approval Explanation: I agree that penalty points doesn't fit here. My experience is that swedes use "prickning" occasionally to, As Helena G suggest, tick off items on a list. However, because there are two alternatives here, namely "Avstämning/prickning" where I suggest that "avstämning" means reconciliation (the action of making financial accounts consistent), I suggest that "prickning" means the opposite of that, in other words, rejection or notation of errors, or sometning along those lines. |
