Swedish term or phrase: rabbeljämförelse
Du har lyckats med konststycket att göra vad som kunnat bli en rätt trist ”rabbeljämförelse” till en högst spännande och stimulerande intellektuell läsupplevelse.

English translation:mechanical listing and comparison
Explanation:
"Rabbel" here is, I am fairly certain, in the sense of "rabbla upp", mechanically recite or list. You might "rabbla upp" the alphabet etc.
So, guessing at the context, I think the reviewer is praising the writer for having managed to make his subject interesting, when it might so easily have been just a boring list of comparisons.

Comparison of rabbles

Explanation:
A typically Swedish composite word. If it has a particular colloquial meaning, I'm afraid I'm not aware of it. Its two components translate as "rabble" and "comparison" and without knowing anything more about the work to which this refers, that is all I can suggest.

Example sentence(s):
  • ... a rather boring rabble comparison (or comparison of rabbles) ...

disagree  Christopher Schröder: I think the rabbel qualifies the jämförelse rather than vice versa

disagree  Agneta Pallinder: Also SV rabbel/EN rabble is a false friend - EN rabble would be SV slödder or similar.
