Swedish term or phrase: kollationering
Man lär sig något nytt varje dag och jag hade inte stiftat bekantskap med begreppet kollationering förrän idag. Enligt NE står det för "teaterterm: första repetitionen av ett teaterstycke, vanligen med genomgång av pjästexten, fördelning av rollerna, tolkningsdiskussioner m.m." och det passar in i sammanhanget i den text jag översätter. Frågan är bara hur man skulle uttrycka detta på engelska...

Explanation:
This seems fairly common in UK, but note that the distinction between meanings is blurred.
Read Through follows and differs from First Reading, which as Deane's ref says, is more applicable to a playwright testing out how the piece sounds.
Read Through precedes and differs from First Rehearsal, which as Agneta's ref says, takes place after the actors' roles have been allocated.
I regret I've never heard of Collation in this context and can't find it, not even in Collins online.
