Swedish term or phrase: Individhantering + dyr individ
I am looking for help with translating both individhantering and the phrase dyr individ.
Individhantering is a process for managing lifecycles of things like cars, machinery etc. that are things that have serial numbers, come with warranty and might need service on a regular basis. They also call these products "dyra individer".

It is sort of like "inventory management", but more specific. It might be the closest match though. I am also considering "asset management". I found the phrase "big-value item" as a way not describe dyr individ on another website for an inventory management solution which I am considering right now.

Sincerely,
Sophie

Explanation:
It's always good to put the Swedish terms into their Swedish context. Then this looks more like two terms.

Search "Material" + "individual management" and you'll get this, and others
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/321141055_Material_...
"combination of lean production methods in the implementation of individual management functions..."

The second one is a little different -- I'd say the source 'dyr individ" is not standard terminology for materiel management. Unless things have changed extremely in the last 15 years when I last worked on an ERP you'd never use 'big-value.' But it has been a while.
Search "Material" + "high-value item" and you'll get more hits that may lead you to

When you're unsure or guessing (yes, its ok) you can check by searching "your guess" + "SAP" If SAP uses it, you should be ok. If not, keep looking.
