English translation:shareholder (ownership) control; corprorate governance
Explanation:
You're dealing with corporate governance in general, which could be used for your term in your context. The general debate is between 'tjänstemannastyrd' and 'ärgarstyrd' companies relating to who should be or is really deciding what companies do the owners/shareholders or the companies managers.

There are several possibilities, here are two (in one). which your wider context should determine.

ESG

Explanation:
ESG refers to "Environmental, social and governance"

I would say that it is a better term to use here, esp. as you mention this is for a textbook.
Plus it is a more modern, and more comprehensive term.

"Ownership Steering" is a term that is sometimes used (esp. in Scandinavia); however I cringe when I hear that. I highly do not recommend that.
