In a list of hobbies. Anything better than "island living"?

English translation:spending time in [the/Stockholm's] archipelago
Explanation:
Or "spending time at my island cottage" or some such (if they've got a place of their own, that is).

I wouldn't use "lifestyle" to describe a hobby.

coastal lifestyle

Explanation:
It's likely more to do with a lifestyle than anything else, so this would be my suggestion.

Example sentence(s):
  • The demand for 'sea change' coastal lifestyles and urban 'gentrification' is further evidence of changing lifestyle expectations.

neutral  Anna Herbst: Why the assumption that only Stockholm has an archipelago? Ever heard of Göteborg, not to mention Bohuslän?

  -> Er, yes, that would be why I used brackets to set off the optional details, since we haven't been given the context of the exact location.For all we know, the person could even be in Luleå, Åbo/Turku or Åland -- they've got archipelagoes as well.

neutral  Charlesp: could be maybe -depending upon context
