Swedish term or phrase: lejonninan till advokat hon har agerar på eget bevåg
Jag har sett en kopia av ytterligare en legal action. Tydligen kommer jag att delges hemma någon av de närmaste dagarna. Jag frågade min advokat om xxx verkligen känner till detta, eller om lejonninan till advokat hon har i xxx agerar på eget bevåg. Min advokat visade mig då kopian på en fullmakt daterad xxx, som ger xxx rätten att agera. Underskriven av dig.

I am really not sure what he means here. Thx!

agree  Tim Kynerd: I'm inclined to agree. Sven's first response is obviously the more literal one. "Agerar" is a typo for "agerat."

the lioness of a lawyer that she has got in xxx is acting on her own initiative

Explanation:
This way the statement that the "she" has her tough lawyer in a place or perhaps a legal practice - denoted by xxx - gets included. And "agerar" is right - the "har" is not an auxiliary verb here

Of course the xxx in "som hon har i xxx" could also be the name of the lioness of a lawyer!

Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer)
agree  Charles Ek: I would simply omit "got" here. The tense is indeed the correct one – the sentence refers to an ongoing legal action in which the attorney is obviously still representing the (some?) client.

-> Thanks Charles - and I made it "has got" rather than "has" because to me that represents better the informal style of the message.

"the lioness lawyer" is acting on her own

Explanation:
Another option. An aggressive female lawyer acting according to her own whims.

whether that lioness of a lawyer she has in xxx [name] is acting on her own authority

Explanation:
Presumably "xxx" is referring to both the person whose level of knowledge the story's narrator wonders about and also the lawyer with the lioness-like characteristics.
