Swedish term or phrase: bekräftade honom i hans uttryck
Hello,

How would you render "bekräfta" in the following context?

"Hon bekräftade honom i hans uttryck kring att börja eget företag."

My guess would be that "affirm" is a good translation here, but I'd like to know if there is a better possibility.

Thanks

agree  Agneta Pallinder: Also because the sentence is so sloppy that "affirm" would stand out as too formal a word.
