store Explanation: Hello I prefer this to "register" in IT generally and in your examples too as you tend to register something once like a claim or a student for a course. You may have to vary your translation as you store on a drive but would save an updated file of course. |

create Explanation: We used this in an IT project I worked on many years ago. I was a good compromise between all the possibilities, when what you're doing is 'entering,' or 'coding' programming instructions to perform a specific procedure.
