compensatable - book-balancing - overtime Explanation: At the bank I used to work at in Stockholm, we clerks had to 'stämma av' > balance up' the books at the end of the banking day - and the female clerks used to get very angry if there was a small cash discrepancy. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 22 hrs (2019-09-29 16:19:32 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- cf in the USA: overtime reconciliation > https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/uploadedFiles/department... Om dessa timmar överstiger det som är avtalat utgår ersättning med övertid = avstämningsövertid -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 day 3 hrs (2019-09-29 21:22:34 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Hello I've really tried to find an "official" name for this but I can't. If you look at the reference I posted, there is a fixed period, say 3 months and overtime is calculated if you do more than your normal number of hours over this period. In French, the same system before overtime is calculated is "modulation du temps du travail" often translated as "modulation of working time/hours of work" - no doubt due to the French having an influence on the English translation - If you are meant to work say 8 hours a day and you do 9 hours on one day, there is no overtime immediately due cos the next day you might only work 7 hours But the overtime has to calculated occasionally and paid and maybe this is done once every three months Reference: http://www.statskontoret.se/upload/Publikationer/2011/201128... |
